Week 6 - Northwestern

Injuries to three key players derailed the SBA football team in their contest against Northwestern in Mellette on Friday, September 29.  The guys played hard but lost the game 43-14. Evan Lopez led the team in rushing with 139 yards on 25 carries.  Teigan Clark added a score with 83 yards rushing on 12 carries.  Crazy Horse comes to campus on Friday, October 6 for SBA's homecoming game.

Game 5 - Sully Buttes

The SBA football team lost by a score of 50-0 to Sully Buttes in Onida on Friday, September 22.  Four turnovers, including a fumble recovery for a touchdown and an interception for a score helped create separation for the Chargers.  Evan Lopez led SBA with 55 yards rushing on 15 carries and 1 catch for 26 yards receiving.  The team travels to Melette to take on the Northwestern Wildcats next Friday, September 29.

Week 4 - Iroquois

The SBA football team defeated Iroquois 30-6 on Friday, September 15.  Evan Lopez rushed for 197 yards on 27 carries with two touchdowns.  Teigan Clark and Ben Deal had 21 and 17 tackles respectively, and Iver Paul recovered two fumbles.  The team travels to Onida to take on 3rd ranked Sully Buttes on Friday, September 22.  The Chargers defeated top ranked 9A Warner this past week.  Details will come later in the week regarding media coverage of the game.

Week 3 - Lower Brule

SBA defeated Lower Brule 38-20 on Friday, September 8.  Evan Lopez had 157 yards on 37 carries with a touchdown, and Ross Engle scored four times with 53 yards on 14 carries.  Engle also hit Jade Burma on a 20 yard touchdown pass. Game stats are linked below.
