2018 Season Record - 5-4
Season Stats Summary

The SBA football team concluded its 2018 season with a loss at Burke.  The team led 14-7 after one quarter and trailed 20-14 at the half, but in the second half, three turnovers and a blocked punt deep in our own end zone allowed the Cougars to pull away.  SBA finished the season with a 5-4 record.

Below is our season results to date.  Also, we will play Potter County in Hoven this Friday, October 12 at 7:00 PM.  The game will be carried by Dakota Radio Group in Mobridge on KMLO, 100.7 FM, and it will also be streamed on their YouTube channel.  Search KMLO on YouTube, and you should find it.  Information regarding our first round playoff opponent will be forthcoming, so stay tuned.  Update: Potter County game added.

Season Stats

Evan Lopez - All-State Honorable Mention

Evan Lopez was named to the 9B all-state team as an honorable mention selection at fullback.  He carried the ball 191 times for 961 yards for an average of 5.0 per carry and 12 touchdowns.  He also caught 4 passes for 80 yards.  The link below has a listing of the all-state team for class 9B.

All-State Teams

Week 8 - Potter County

Potter County defeated SBA 36-6 on Friday, October 13 at SBA.  Teigan Clark led the team with 101 yards on 16 carries, and also led the team in tackles with 19.  EJ Big Eagle had a touchdown pass of 11 yards to Jade Burma.  SBA now awaits information regarding playoffs.
